Simeron Taak

I have a background in design and have a good knowledge of HTML and CSS. I'm a creative in the design and web industry. I love a challenge. I have experience working as a freelancer while at university, working on internal and external prjects. As a designer I have created company branding, stationary, and physical products. As a web designers I have created various websites in Photoshop. I have also developed websites using CMS systems such as wordpress and used the editor to make additonal changes to meet clients purposes. During various projects I have worked a lot in UX and UI exploring consumer interactions and mocking up various wireframes to using tools such as invision.

Skills

This is a list of the skills I have, I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML, CSS, and UX/UI. I have experience using JavaScript and PHP. I use GitHub as a form of version control when working on projects, both when working on group projects and individually. I use the editor Sublime Text when coding and have experience working with other editors. I have made any websites and developed services using Wordpress.

What I can do

Mobile first design

I have experience with app design, learning about how applications are developed. I find it really interesting to design for applications for different services. With the increasing trends in applications being used more readily in consumers, day to day lives.

Coding

I am proficient in HTML and CSS and have experience in Javascript and PHP. I’ve worked on websites, web apps and interactive narratives. I love to experiment with code and create new products and services.

Graphic Design

I originally started in graphic design and have a continued Interest in that area, and keep up with the ever-changing trends. I have an eye for design and experience designing a range of different digital and printed products for clients.

Social Media Mangagment

I’ve experienced managing and moderating communities for different target markets as well as conducting and overseeing social campaigns and to increase engagement and presence of a brand/company. – Alexis Smith

Wireframing

In this ever changing world consumers reply more online than ever before, making users experience all the more important. This part of design is all about how to get consumers to interact and engage with a product. I have worked on many projects involving UX design.

Web Design

I have a passion for designing platforms which allow consumers to interact on a more personal level, to create more of an immersive experience. I’ve designed mobile first web pages following the trends of the ever-changing world we live in.

Created brochures displaying the company's care homes, this was made using Photoshop and Indesign. I’ve carried out user testing and redesigned and built there company website where I had to access the back-end of the website to edited their code to fulfil the customer's needs.
